Bears HC John Fox announced Monday that S Quintin Demps broke his arm in yesterday’s win over Steelers.
It remains to be seen whether the Bears will place him on injured reserve and add someone to their roster, but an injury like this typically leads to an extended absence, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Chicago go this route.
Demps, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent just over two years in Philadelphia before he was cut at the start of the 2010 season and later signed on with the Texans.
