LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears linebacker Leonard Floyd is out indefinitely because of a right knee injury he suffered in Chicago's 27-24 loss to the Detroit Lions, coach John Fox said on Monday.
"You know, I think he's going to miss some time," Fox said. "The exact extent of all the medical terms, I think it's just fair to say he’s going to miss some time. They're still evaluating it."
In a potential stroke of good fortune, the Bears think Floyd might have avoided tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, but Fox would not rule out eventually placing Floyd on injured reserve.
