Curtis Conway said he is not usually great at trivia, but he was quick with a correct answer when asked Wednesday to name the last Bears player picked at No. 7 overall.
“C-way, that’s the only history I know,” Conway said with a laugh, referring to himself.
Conway, who spent 11 years in the league as a wide receiver and is now an NFL Network analyst, was the seventh pick in the 1993 draft, the first player taken under first-year head coach Dave Wannstedt. Twenty-two years later, Chicago selects seventh and again has a new head coach.
