Bagent’s passer rating plunged from 124.1 at the end of the third quarter to 65.3 for the game.

NEW ORLEANS — Bears rookie quarterback Tyson Bagent showed a little of everything Sunday against the Saints, including promising playmaking ability and massive mistakes.

But mostly Bagent underscored what has been the case for the Bears for what feels like forever: They don’t have an answer at quarterback and won’t be a winner until they do.

The Saints set a low bar for the Bears, but Bagent couldn’t clear it and spiraled to a 24-17 loss at the Superdome as he threw two interceptions and lost a fumble in the fourth quarter.
