Two candidates for the Bears’ head-coaching job might be teaming up with the Patriots.

The Patriots hired Mike Vrabel as coach this week, and one of his first choices to interview for offensive coordinator was Bears interim coach Thomas Brown, NFL Network reported.

He also interviewed with the Bears for the full-time position and with the Seahawks for offensive coordinator.

Brown, 38, has long been seen as a rising star and has had head-coaching interviews before. He has been an offensive coordinator at the University of Miami (2016 through ’18) and for the Panthers (2023) and Bears (2024).
