Bears injury report: David Montgomery, Mitch Trubisky still out

Bears running back David Montgomery still hasn’t been cleared to return from concussion protocol, while backup quarterback Mitch Trubisky remained out of practice Thursday, 11 days after he hurt his right shoulder when he was tackled in his only play against the Saints.

Montgomery suffered a concussion during Sunday’s loss to the Titans.

Trubisky missed all three practices last week, too. He flew to Los Angeles to get a second opinion on his shoulder and, coach Matt Nagy said, got good news. He won’t be put on injured reserve; the Bears expect him to rehab his injury in time to be able to help them — in some regard — later this season.
