Bears injured defensive lineman Ego Ferguson suspended four games

The NFL is cracking down on the Bears this week.

Just two days after the NFL suspended rookie offensive lineman Tayo Fabuluje and practice squad wide receiver Jalen Saunders, the Bears announced that defensive lineman Ego Ferguson has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Ferguson, who was placed on IR on Oct. 17 with a knee injury, will begin serving his suspension immediately.

Feguson, 24, was selected by the Bears in the second round (51st overall) in the 2014 NFL Draft out of LSU. Ferguson has registered 13 tackles and two sacks in 20 games with the Bears.
