Bears’ inactives for Week 6 game at Panthers

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Bears will have defensive tackle John Jenkins available again after activating him from injured reserve and making him active for today’s game at the Panthers.

They’ll also have their choice of backup offensive linemen Alex Bars and Rashaad Coward to take over for left guard James Daniels. Bars, who played for Daniels against the Buccaneers last week, and Coward are active.

Coward started 10 games at right guard last season after Kyle Long went on injured reserve.

Jenkins played 29% of defensive snaps in the season opener and 40% in week two before tearing a ligament in his thumb.
