GLENDALE, Ariz. — Injuries are piling up for the Bears, and now they won’t have star pass rusher Montez Sweat.
Sweat is inactive Sunday against the Cardinals after missing most of the week of practice with a shin injury and being labeled questionable for the game. He got cut on his shin by a Commanders player’s cleat last week and practiced only on Thursday.
The Bears also missed nickel cornerback Kyler Gordon for the Commanders game and most of the practice week because of a hamstring injury he suffered in London against the Jaguars and left guard Teven Jenkins (knee) after he got hurt against the Commanders.
