Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Bears are hosting CB Darius Butler for a visit on Saturday. La Canfora adds that this is the first of “several” visits Butler has scheduled.
Last we heard regarding Butler, La Canfora reported that he has been unable to come to terms on a deal to stay with the Colts, and now plans to start taking visits this weekend.
Butler previously mentioned that he wants to begin transitioning to safety at this point in his career, which is an interesting thing for a free agent to admit.
