The Chicago Bears announced Saturday that they’ve hired former Giants OC Kevin Gilbride as their new tight ends coach.
Gilbride, 66, began his NFL coaching career back in 1989 as their QBs coach. He spent five years in Houston before working for a number of teams including the Jaguars, Chargers, Steelers and Bills before the Giants hired him as their QBs coach in 2004.
New York eventually promoted Gilbride to offensive coordinator in 2007 and he spent seven years running the Giants’ offense before he was let go in 2013.
