The Bears on Friday hired Dave Ragone as their new quarterbacks coach. He replaces Dowell Loggains, who was promoted to offensive coordinator Jan. 11.
The two worked together for three seasons with the Tennessee Titans, with Ragone coaching receivers (2011-12) and quarterbacks (2013) and Loggains serving as quarterbacks coach (2010-12) and later coordinator for the final five games in 2012 and the entire 2013 season.
A former star quarterback at Louisville, Ragone played in the NFL with the Houston Texans from 2003-05 and has been an assistant in the league for four seasons.
