Maybe it’s just a sensible adjustment for Bears training camp.
Last year the Bears’ schedule included five primetime games. The Bears had their usual night practice at Soldier Field during training camp, plus a sprinkling of 3 p.m. starts to practices in Bourbonnais.
This year the Bears have just two night games (plus one mid-afternoon game in Seattle). Not surprisingly perhaps, coach John Fox has zero night practices planned for Bears camp, which opens on Thursday, July 30, in Bourbonnais and runs through Sunday, Aug. 16, before the Bears return to Halas Hall.
