The Bears never imagined they’d be playing meaningless games in December yet again, but there they were Thursday night hosting the Seahawks with nothing at stake. They lost 6-3 in a game that was hard on the eyes.
With one game left next weekend at the Packers, the Bears’ attention has been on next season for a while. Their coaching search has been well underway since firing Matt Eberflus last month, and they should be deep into the vetting process by now.
