With Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze each a game-time decision because of injuries, the Bears promoted Collin Johnson from the practice squad.
Allen, who has been nursing a heel injury since last month, and Odunze, who suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in his right knee Sunday, are both listed as questionable for the Bears’ game Sunday night in Houston. Bears coach Matt Eberflus said he wanted to take both decisions up until late Sunday afternoon; both players were on the team flight to Houston.
Johnson stood out in the Bears’ first preseason game before an injury hampered him the rest of camp.
