The Chicago Bears earned above-average marks for their work done in free agency, at least that’s the consensus of ESPN’s team of NFL Insiders who assigned a free agency letter grade to all 32 teams.
While the Bears did not spend lavishly, they managed to sign three projected starters on defense – inside linebackers Danny Trevathan and Jerrell Freeman, and defensive lineman Akiem Hicks.
The biggest move, to date, on offense is the arrival of Arizona Cardinals right tackle Bobby Massie.
