Last year this time, the Chicago Bears were considered one of the top contenders to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. Instead, they finished 2019 with a disappointing 8-8 record and very real questions at quarterback. As a result, some pundits have the Bears pegged as one of the NFL's cellar-dwellers in 2020.
It's been a shocking about-face for a team that still has most of its roster from the 2018 season intact. Sure, there have been some changes, but that's commonplace across the league and the Bears have done a good job adding upgrades since then, too.
