The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve designated S Quintin Demps to return from injured reserve on Thursday.
This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Bears to add him to their active roster or he’ll spend the duration of the 2017 season on injured reserve.
Demps, 32, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent just over two years in Philadelphia before he was cut at the start of the 2010 season and later signed on with the Texans.
After that, Demps played for the Chiefs and Giants before returning to the Texans in August of 2015.
