The Bears are swinging big on the offensive line this offseason and agreed to a trade Wednesday with the Chiefs for four-time All-Pro guard Joe Thuney, a source said. The Bears are sending a 2026 fourth-round pick for Thuney, who has typically played left guard in his nine-year career and jumped in a left tackle for the Chiefs in the playoffs.
The Thuney deal followed a trade with the Rams the day before for guard Jonah Jackson. As the Bears look to fill up to four starting spots on the offensive line for the upcoming season, they appear to have solved two of them before free agency or the draft.
