Bears commit to running the football, but who is after Matt Forte?

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Defensive linemen usually complain about running backs because of cut blocks and such. Bears D-linemen are irritated with Jacquizz Rodgers for a different, “smaller” but no less annoying reason.

They can’t find Rodgers. Literally.

The 5-foot-6 running back has emerged to this point of the offseason as Forte’s understudy. The defensive linemen wish he would “emerge” a lot more.

“Oh yeah, they complain about him all the time, not being able to find him,” said running backs coach Stan Drayton, smiling. “And then when they do find him, he’s low to the ground and he’s got some power behind him.
