Veteran quarterback Nick Foles will make his debut as the Bears’ starter Sunday, a week after coming in for Mitch Trubisky against them Falcons and delivering a 30-26 comeback victory.
Trubisky is active against the Colts and is expected to be Foles’ backup regardless of the Bears promoting Tyler Bray from their practice squad Saturday.
Here are the Bears’ inactives:
- OL Arlington Hambright
- QB Tyler Bray
- WR Riley Ridley
- DT Daniel McCullers
- OLB Trevis Gipson
- DB Sherrick McManis
There could be many reasons for the Bears calling up Bray from their practice squad, but it’s worth noting that the rules for doing so are different this season.
