The Bears’ coaching vacancies have officially been filled.
The team made their recent offensive staff moves official Thursday night, hiring Bill Lazor as offensive coordinator and John DeFilippo as quarterbacks coach. The Sun-Times reported the former move Monday, the latter Wednesday.
The Bears also promoted quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone to pass-game coordinator.
Brian Ginn, who spent the last two years as the Bears’ offensive quality control coach, was named assistant special teams coach. He was a teammate of Nagy’s at Delaware and coached 17 years for the Fightin’ Blue Hens.
Chris Jackson, a former Arena Football League teammates of Nagy’s, was named assistant wide receivers coach.
