He’s baaaaaaack.
The Chicago Bears have claimed outside linebacker Lamarr Houston off of waivers, according to Ian Rapoport. The 30-year-old edge rusher had just been placed on waivers by the Houston Texans on Tuesday.
Houston was initially signed by the Bears in March of 2014 to a five-year, $35 million deal. He spent three full seasons with the team, tallying nine sacks and 70 tackles and 26 games, before being released in September of 2017.
He appeared in five games for the Texans this season. He totaled one sack, seven tackles and a 34-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in his tenure there.
