The Chicago Bears have flexed offensive lineman Dieter Eiselen and running back Artavis Pierce to the active roster from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.
Eiselen can play all three interior positions for the Bears, and he’ll join reserves Lachavious Simmons and Alex Bars in backing up starters Jason Peters (LT), Cody Whitehair (LG), Sam Mustipher (C), James Daniels (RG), and Elijah Wilkinson (RT). The Bears currently have three offensive tackles on injured reserve in rookies Larry Borom and Teven Jenkins, and veteran Germain Ifedi.
NFL rules dictate that if you have 8 offensive lineman active for a game then you can dress 48 players, but if you have 7 active offensive linemen then you can only dress 47 on game day.
