The Bears have signed tight end Bradley Sowell to the 53-man roster, the team announced on Tuesday. The move comes one day after Chicago waived defensive lineman Abdullah Anderson.
It has been a wild week and a half for Sowell, who has been waived twice and signed twice since last Sunday. The former offensive tackle has seen his roster status affected greatly by injuries and the need to promote players from the practice squad.
Sowell saw action in the first two games of the season, playing 11 offensive snaps and 12 special teams snaps.
