LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky believes he’s made significant strides since he debuted against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5.
“In every area ... leadership ... just reading defenses,” Trubisky said on Wednesday. “Preparation ... how to carry yourself as a pro and just getting comfortable within this offense is probably the main thing [I’ve done]. Just letting the game slow down and just playing, instead of thinking.”
Last time out versus Minnesota -- Chicago’s opponent this Sunday -- Trubisky, making his NFL regular-season debut, went 12-of-25 for 128 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
