GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Bears’ massive disappointment of a season had a happy, and unlikely, ending.
Kicker Cairo Santos made a 51-yard field goal as time expired Sunday at Lambeau Field to beat the Packers 24-22 and end the Bears’ 10-game losing streak. The kick — against the team that blocked his potential game-winner earlier this season — snapped the Bears’ 11-game losing streak against their rival, dating to December 2018. The Bears finished the season 5-12.
To.set up the game-winner, quarterback Caleb Williams completed an 18-yard pass to receiver DJ Moore on third-and-11 from the Bears’ 49 with 14 seconds to play and no timeouts left.
