Yesterday Chicago Bears head coach Mat Nagy officially announced several new changes and promotions to his coaching staff.
Bill Lazor was named offensive coordinator and John DeFilippo was hired as quarterbacks coach, which meant a promotion for Dave Ragone from QB coach to passing game coordinator.
Nagy also announced that Brian Ginn was promoted to assistant special teams coach after serving the previous two years as an offensive quality control coach, Chris Jackson, who was a defensive assistant, was promoted to assistant wide receivers coach, and Shane Toub was promoted to defensive quality control after spending the previous two seasons as a defensive assistant.
