One day after they created two roster openings, the Bears promoted running back Travis Homer and defensive end Jacob Martin from injured reserve Saturday. The team also promoted veteran safety Tarvarius Moore in advance of their Sunday afternoon game at the Commanders.
Martin started the season on IR because of a toe injury, while Homer hurt his finger and was put on IR on Sept. 21. Both practiced this week and were listed as questionable for the game on Friday.
To make room for the two, the Bears waived receive-turned-running back Velus Jones and cut fullback Khari Blasingame.
