Bears add Lamar Miller to the practice squad, release Stephen Denmark

On Monday the Chicago Bears made official the signing of running back Lamar Miller to the practice squad that was reported on last week. To make room for Miller, the Bears released former 7th-round draft pick from 2019, Stephen Denmark.

The 29-year old Miller, who has a history with Bears running back coach Charles London, tore his ACL during a 2019 preseason game, so he hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since 2018. He was signed by the New England Patriots in August, but was placed on their PUP list before being released on September 5.
