Early in the first quarter, Chicago Bears’ tight end Adam Shaheen caught a pass from Mitchell Trubisky for a five yard gain, but he seemed to have injured his ankle on the tackle. He scooted along the turf for a moment before limping to his sideline. A few moments later Chicago’s medical personal brought the cart over to take him to the locker room.
His return to the game has officially been ruled doubtful.
It appeared as though his toe got caught in the ground and his ankle twisted, but as soon as we have more concrete info we’ll pas sit along.
