The game
After a two-game homestand, the Bears will hit the road in Week 6 to play the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte. The last time these two faced off in October 2017, it was Eddie Jackson’s coming-out party. The safety returned a fumble and an interception for 75+ yard touchdowns in a 17-3 win for John Fox over his former team.
Player to watch
For the third week in a row early in the season, the Bears will see a new face at quarterback for the opposing team. Teddy Bridgewater was rumored to be a Bears target during free agency but ultimately signed a three-year, $63 million contract with the Panthers.
