3 Bears takeaways: Trey Burton looks better, Danny Trevathan goes to ‘archives’

Here are three quick takeaways from the Bears-Redskins game:

One week after catching two passes for only five yards in his season debut, Bears tight end Trey Burton looked a lot more like his 2018 self, catching four passes for 20 yards and blocking ably. The Bears said this week they would build up Burton’s workload gradually as he returns from a groin injury.

Veteran inside linebacker Danny Trevathan pulled off the niftiest defensive move in a night full of them. About a minute into the second quarter, Trevathan walked toward the line of scrimmage after the snap and then stood straight up, as though he wasn’t rushing.
