The Kansas City Chiefs have 3 notable free agent CBs in Bashaud Breeland, Kendall Fuller and Mo Claiborne. Fuller and Breeland expect to garner a lot of attention this offseason. Could the Bears team up the Fuller brothers in Chicago? Breeland might be a better fit as he’s a natural outside CB while Fuller plays primarily nickel. Eli Apple could be a target for Chicago as he played pretty well for the Saints in 2019. Apple hasn’t lived up to being a top 10 pick in 2016, but is still a starting-caliber corner.
Aqib Talib is getting older as he just turned 34 years old. After playing just 5 games in 2019, what will his market be? Could the Bears bring him in on a discounted one year deal? If Chicago wants someone long-term then why not Trae Waynes. Waynes is coming off a down season in Minnesota but hits free agency at just 27 years old. The Bears should certainly have interest in Waynes this offseason.
