Chicago Bears News starts with Matt Nagy’s press conference where he addressed several things with the media. Nagy admitted that not playing starters during the preseason last year was a mistake and he plans on changing that this year. Is that the right approach? He also clarified that Nick Foles & Mitch Trubisky will not start the Bears QB Competition during the ‘virtual’ offseason. They won’t compete until they’re back on the field. Chicago Bears Now host Harrison Graham has the latest Bears Rumors & News on today’s show.

Mitchell Trubisky has a lot riding on the next few months after the Bears traded for Nick Foles and declined Trubisky’s 5th year option. Trubisky will have to earn the starting job in 2020 and then prove to the Bears’ coaching staff he can be the long-term answer at QB. Will Foles or Trubisky start this season? USA Today writer Nate Davis apparently doesn’t care who starts as he has the Bears going 3-13 during the 2020 NFL Season. Could the Bears fall off that big of a cliff?
The Bears signed two UDFA running backs: Artavis Pierce & Napoleon Maxwell. With David Montgomery and Tarik Cohen locks to make the Bears’ roster, expect Pierce & Maxwell to compete with Ryan Nall for the final 1-2 spots. Who will be the Bears’ RB3 this season? Should Chicago sign a proven veteran?
