Chicago Bears Rumors are heating up as the NFL Combine is in full swing. Both Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy met with the media in Indianapolis and discussed several things including Mitch Trubisky and the QB position heading into 2020. Pace is still backing Trubisky, but did mention that competition would be a good thing. He also didn’t commit to opting in for Trubisky’s 5th year option. Nagy mentioned that Trubisky needs to improve on processing and needs to be “obsessed” with improving and watching film.
The Bears have met with several players at the 2020 NFL Scouting combine including Georgia QB Jake Fromm. If Chicago is serious about bringing in competition for Trubisky, drafting Fromm or another QB in Round 2 could be an option. Jacob Eason and Jalen Hurts could fall into that range where the Bears have two 2nd round picks.
The Bears could target Andy Dalton via trade or in free agency if he’s released. Titans’ free agent QB Marcus Mariota is another intriguing free agent QB. Could he be the ideal competition for Mitchell Trubisky? Chicago Bears Now host Harrison Graham discusses all of the latest Bears News & Rumors IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW.
