Most of the Chicago Bears draft rumors have centered around the idea of them continuing to upgrade their defense, but some have noted that they are likely to take a QB in the draft to be a backup to Jay Cutler, and potentially be his successor.
The position doesn't seem to be the biggest need considering Cutler's improved play last season, but Chicago seems intent on drafting one - and they might even do so in the first round.
Would not fully rule out a 1st round QB if Carson Wentz drops to 11 (not likely). Been told they love him. #Bears https://t.co/3Op7uIC3YD

That might be a long shot, since Wentz could go as early as No. 2 overall to the Browns or No. 4 to the Cowboys, but it's clear that the Bears really like what Wentz brings to the table. Trading up for him seems like a distant possiblity, but it is something to keep an eye on as we move closer to draft day.
