The Bears are set for a QB competition between Mitchell Trubisky and Nick Foles in 2020. That doesn’t prevent the Bears from using a draft pick on QB this year. The Bears could use one of their 2nd round draft picks on Jacob Eason as he’s expected to go in Round 2. Eason is a strong-armed QB who had ups and downs at Washington. If Chicago wants a mobile QB, how about Jalen Hurts? Hurts improved dramatically as a passer last season at Oklahoma. If the Bears trade down from Round 2, drafting Hurts in the 3rd round makes some sense. If the Bears want a Day 3 QB option, Washington State QB Anthony Gordon is a good prospect in Round 4 or 5.
