Chicago Bears Roster Projections are an in-depth look at a way too early look at the Bears 53-man roster. The Bears have a lot of depth at several positions on their roster and a lot of competition both for starting spots and for final roster spots. Chicago Bears Now host Harrison Graham breaks down his Bears roster projections, practice squad projections & explains the new NFL CBA changes and how it affects NFL Rosters in 2020.
Chicago Bears Rumors about the Bears final roster are heating up as training camp will be here before we know it. There’s some confusion with the new NFL CBA rules whether or not NFL rosters are at 53 or 55. Teams can elevate two practice squad players each week to make it 55, but rosters are still at 53 players.

The Bears 2020 roster has some major battles at key positions including at QB between Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles. Both are locks to make the roster, but who will start? Will the Bears keep Tyler Bray on their final roster? How many RBs & WRs will the Bears carry? Which TEs will make the team after Jimmy Graham and Cole Kmet? The Bears have several tough decisions to make between now and roster cuts.
The Bears will have a 53-man roster in 2020 with the option to promote 2 players from the new 12-man practice squad for each game. Practice squad players can only be elevated for 2 games per season if they want to maintain their practice squad contract designation. Otherwise, teams will have to promote them to the 53-man roster and give them a true NFL contract.
