According to reports, the Chicago Bears have hired Marc Trestman, the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League, as their new head coach.
Reports began when Jimmy Johnson, former Cowboys HC and current analyst for Fox Sports, tweeted out the following: "Looks like 2 of my guys getting NFL jobs..Chud Cleveland and my QB coach at U Trestman to Chicago."

Trestman has been in the CFL since 2008 and has won the Grey Cup twice (2009 and 2010). Additionally, Trestman does have extensive NFL experience. He was the QB coach and OC for several teams between 1985-2004.
Trestman is considered a good hire by many, and is widely considered the number one pick for the Bears.
