Hakim Ziyech has revealed his 'connection' with Chelsea manager Frank Lampard convinced him to leave Ajax to sign for the Premier League club.
Lampard made the Moroccan his first recruit as Chelsea boss in February when the Blues saw off rival clubs to agree a £37million fee with the Dutch giants.
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder, who has produced registered eight goals and 21 assists in 35 club appearances this season, will move to London when the transfer window opens in the summer.
Ziyech has been outspoken in response to the Eredivisie season being declared void, describing the decision not to award leaders Ajax the title as 'bull****'.
