Former US men's national team defender Alexi Lalas has been left unimpressed with Tyler Adams' impending move to Bournemouth, despite the USA captain being given the opportunity to keep playing in the Premier League, after his $25million transfer to Chelsea fell through.
The Cherries triggered the defensive midfielder's $25M (£20M) release clause on Monday in a bid to bring the 24-year-old to the Vitality Stadium before the summer transfer window shuts later this month, according to reports.
The American is believed to want out of Elland Road after Leeds' relegation to the Championship last season and appears to be keen to move to England's south coast, though Lalas isn't a fan of the idea.
