Kalidou Koulibaly snubbed a move to Premier League champions Chelsea because of his desire to win Serie A with Napoli, according to his agent.
The 26-year-old defender had been one of Antonio Conte's key transfer targets over the summer but the Blues could not force through a deal.
Now the player's agent, Bruno Satin, has revealed that Koulibaly decided to remain at the Stadio San Paolo to realise a dream title win with Napoli.
"The Scudetto pact?" Bruno Satin considered on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
"Kalidou stayed because he has a strong contract and he knows that with these teammates and this staff they can have important ambitions and try to win the Scudetto.
