Marseille have joined Chelsea and Everton in the race for Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour, according to reports in France.
The 27-year-old almost left the Spain in the summer and he revealed in September that he had talks with English clubs.
They were believed to be Chelsea and Everton, and it has been reported that the pair will return for the centre-back in January.
However, according to L'Equipe, the Premier League duo must now fight off competition from Marseille to land Abdennour.
The French club have cash to splash after billionaire Frank McCourt's takeover and they are drawing up a list of targets for January.
