Tottenham 1-2 Chelsea: Reece James and Ike Ugbo put Blues in command of FA Youth Cup semi-final as they aim for fourth successive triumph

Chelsea took a giant step towards their fourth consecutive FA Youth Cup final as they won 2-1 in the first leg at London rivals Tottenham on Tuesday night.

Goals from Reece James and Ike Ugbo put the defending champions in firm control of the semi-final tie and, despite Spurs replying through Kazaiah Sterling, the Blues will be favourites to advance in Saturday's second leg.

Chelsea have enjoyed plenty of success in this famous old competition in recent times, and they are aiming to reach their sixth final in eight seasons, and win the trophy for the eighth time in their history.
