Timo Werner must surely be wondering what it will take for his luck to finally turn at Chelsea.
Expectations of the 25-year-old have been high ever since he moved to west London in a £53m switch last summer, with Chelsea beating Liverpool to the signing of the RB Leipzig star in a real coup for the Blues.
However, Werner has been unable to emulate his Leipzig form that saw him cast as one of Europe's top attacking talents.
The Germany international's lack of conviction in front of goal, coupled with a number of fine-margin decisions going against him, has resulted in a meagre return of just six Premier League goals this campaign.
