Tianjin Quanjian have set "no limit" on what they are willing to spend in the summer and will pursue players at the same level as January target Diego Costa, billionaire owner Shu Yuhui has said.
Last month, Costa was briefly dropped from the Chelsea team and told to train alone after what sources told ESPN FC was a training ground argument following a lucrative offer from the Chinese Super League club.
Tianjin were told Costa would not be sold for any price in the winter window and eventually signed Alexandre Pato from Villarreal.
But Yuhui said they would take a highly ambitious approach to the summer transfer period, telling a news conference: "Theoretically speaking, there is no limit on transfer budget.
