Thorgan Hazard lights up Monchengladbach as Borussia star follows in older brother Eden's footsteps with sensational hat-trick

Thorgan Hazard scored a brilliant hat-trick against Young Boys on Wednesday night to help propel Borussia Monchengladbach into the Champions League group stages.

The Foals beat their Swiss opponents 6-1 at Borussia-Park stadium, to clinch the tie 9-2 on aggregate, with Hazard and team-mate Raffael scoring three each.

At 23 years old, Thorgan is the younger brother of Chelsea superstar and Belgium captain Eden, 25, and joined his German club from the Blues on a permanent basis in February 2015, after initially signing for them on a season-long loan.

And now, in his third campaign with his Bundesliga side, Hazard will be hoping to build on the one international cap he earned over three years ago, with some good early season form.
