Thomas Tuchel confirmed as England manager LIVE: New Three Lions boss to be unveiled at Wembley stadium as he delivers first message since being appointed

Thomas Tuchel has today been unveiled as the new England head coach tasked with leading the Three Lions into the World Cup in 2026.

The German former Chelsea, Paris St Germain and Bayern Munich manager becomes the third non-Englishman to hold the post after Sven-Goran Eriksson and Fabio Capello.

Tuchel, who said he has 'long felt a connection' to English football, will start in the role on January 1 ahead of the World Cup qualifying campaign.
