Chelsea manager Frank Lampard jumped to the defence of players fearing the Premier League's return but says his Chelsea squad are raring to go for the season's resumption.
The next few days are critical as to whether England's top-flight league starts up following the outbreak of the coronavirus, with Premier League clubs set to vote on Monday after the league's all-important 'Project Restart' plan.
And Lampard, who says that the Blues are on track to return to training next week, is looking forward to the 2019/20 season resuming again, says he will be keeping an eye on his players' welfare during the new few weeks.
